Standard Bearing Series

6300 Series Deep Groove Ball Bearings

21 standard models, bore 10–100mm. Our heaviest standard series — larger balls and a thicker outer ring deliver the highest load ratings in the range, built for gearboxes, conveyors and industrial drives, with every bearing fully inspected before it ships.

Built for the Heaviest Loads in the Standard Range

The 6300 series covers the same bore range as our 6000 and 6200 series — 10mm to 100mm across 21 standard models (6300–6320) — but takes cross-section further. Larger balls and a thicker outer ring push dynamic and static load ratings well above the 6200 series at every bore size, at some cost to maximum speed. Reach for the 6300 series when a job needs that extra load margin and there's room in the housing for a larger bearing.

Characteristics, Applications & Lead Time

Bearing Characteristics

The 6300 series carries the largest balls and thickest rings of our three standard bore-matched series, giving it the highest dynamic and static load ratings at every bore size — in several sizes nearly double the 6200 series. The trade-off is top speed: grease-lubricated limits run from 23,000 r/min at the smallest bore down to 3,200 r/min at the largest. Every bearing still passes full-image inspection before it ships.

Typical Applications

Specify the 6300 series when radial or axial load is the deciding factor rather than speed or space: gearboxes, conveyor rollers, industrial drives, heavy-duty pumps and machinery subject to shock loading or frequent starts and stops.

Lead Time & Minimum Order

The 6300 series is one of our core production lines, so most bore sizes are kept in stock or on a rolling production schedule. Sample lead time is typically 10 days; there is no strict minimum order quantity for first-time or trial orders. Send us your bore size, seal type and quantity for a specific lead time.

Frequently Asked Questions — 6300 Series

What bore sizes and dimensions does the 6300 series cover?
The 6300 series spans 21 standard models, 6300 to 6320, with bores from 10mm to 100mm, outer diameters from 35mm to 210mm, and widths from 11mm to 47mm. Every dimension is listed in the table above.
How is the 6300 series different from the 6200 series?
Both series share the same bore sizes, but the 6300 series uses larger balls and a thicker outer ring, which raises its dynamic and static load ratings well above the 6200 series — in some sizes by close to double. The trade-off is a lower maximum speed at the same bore size.
What load ratings can I expect from the 6300 series?
Dynamic load ratings range from 8.2 kN at the smallest bore (6300) up to 173 kN at the largest (6320), with static ratings from 3.5 kN to 141 kN. Check the Dynamic Cr and Static Cor columns above for the exact figures at your bore size.
What seal options are available?
Every model in the 6300 series is available open, or sealed with ZZ (metal shields), 2RZ (low-friction rubber seal) or 2RS (contact rubber seal). ZZ and 2RZ suit higher-speed, cleaner environments; 2RS gives the strongest protection against dust and moisture at a slightly lower top speed.
What's the maximum speed for 6300 series bearings?
Speed drops off faster in this series than in the 6000 or 6200 series because of the larger ball size. Grease-lubricated limits run from around 23,000 r/min for the smallest bores (6300–6303) down to 3,200–4,000 r/min for the largest (6317–6320).
Can the 6300 series handle axial as well as radial loads?
Yes. Like all our deep groove ball bearings, the 6300 series is designed primarily for radial loads but also handles moderate axial loads in either direction — part of why it suits gearboxes and drive shafts that see combined loading.
Are 6300 series bearings interchangeable with other brands?
Yes. The 6300 numbering follows the same ISO standard used industry-wide, so our bearings match the bore, outer diameter and width of the equivalent SKF, NSK, NTN, FAG or Koyo 6300-series part. Send us your current part number and we'll confirm the match.
What's the lead time, and can I get custom specs?
Sample lead time is typically 10 days, with most bore sizes kept in stock or on a rolling production schedule and no strict minimum order for trial quantities. We also accept custom bore sizes, tighter clearance classes and special grease fills within the 6300 series — send us your requirement and we'll confirm feasibility before quoting.
