The 6800 series runs from a 6mm bore up to 50mm across 16 standard models (686–6810), including the widened 6800W7 variant for applications that need extra rigidity without stepping up to the next bore. Compared with our standard-width lines at the same bore, the thinner ring section trims both weight and installed depth, which is why this series shows up in cameras, small servo motors, medical devices and instrument gearing where every millimeter of housing depth matters. It carries lighter loads than a full-width bearing of the same bore, so it's best matched to applications where compactness outweighs raw load capacity.

The 6800 series pairs a small ball complement with a thin ring section, which keeps outer diameter and width down at every bore size compared with our standard-width lines. That slim build supports high speeds relative to its size — grease-lubricated limits reach 33,000 r/min at the smallest bore (686) and still hold at 5,000 r/min at the largest (6810). Load ratings are correspondingly modest, from 1.08 kN up to 6.6 kN dynamic across the range. Every bearing is still fully inspected before shipment.
This series fits where housing depth or overall weight is the limiting factor: small precision motors, camera and optical mechanisms, medical and lab instruments, RC and hobby drivetrains, and compact gear trains where a standard-width bearing simply won't fit.
All 16 bore sizes in the 6800 series run on a rolling production schedule, with sample lead time typically around 10 days and no strict minimum order quantity for trial batches. Let us know the bore size, seal option and quantity you need and we'll confirm a firm delivery date.
